No matter who you vote for or why, voting is your way to get your voice heard. It’s a civic duty, a right, a privilege, and a beautiful thing—and at the end of the day, it’s an action. We don’t just want to celebrate the power of every vote—we want to empower every voter to take action.
But we also understand that in our new COVID-19 reality, voting is going to look—and feel— different. The voter turnout for the 2016 U.S. election was 61%; we don’t need anything else getting in the way as we shape our future. To make sure you are registered and to make your plan to vote, head to iamavoter.com or text VOTER to 26797. You can also sign up for important election updates, learn about local volunteer opportunities, and get reminders that will help you vote with confidence in upcoming elections.
Want to get your voice heard? Make a plan. Here’s your Voting Checklist:
In most states, eligible voters can cast a ballot before Election Day either in-person during the early voting period, by mail, or via an absentee ballot.
Head to iamavoter.com to find detailed information on voting in your state.
